Research

We develop methods and models to support decisions made during the planning, construction, and operation of built facilities. Our main topics are:

• mathematical methods in schedule optimization,
• robust scheduling (proactive and reactive approaches),
• estimating and controlling construction costs and life cycle cost of built facilities,
• optimizing decisions in built facilities management,
• supply chain management in construction.

Teaching

We conduct undergraduate and graduate courses related with construction methods, project management, building economics, operations research, and enterpreneurship for architecture and construction students.
