Group of Solid Mechanics

The Solid Mechanics Group within the Department of Roads and Bridges at the Lublin University of Technology conducts research into modern multiphase materials used to address contemporary engineering challenges, as well as multiscale modelling of the behaviour of composite materials and engineering structures under mechanical (monotonic, cyclic and dynamic loads) and thermal conditions. Micro-, meso- and phenomenological material models are being developed.
