Alicja Pytka, a second-year master's student of architecture at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of Lublin University of Technology, won the nationwide competition entitled "Small construction - big benefits", organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology together with the General Office of Building Control.
The competition entry was prepared in Theme 3 - remote work and geopolitical threat situation. The design is a recreational single-family house with an area of 70 square meters which contains functional solutions that ensure recreation combined with adapting the facility to the needs of remote work.
Alicja Pytka also designed innovative ecological solutions and adapted the building for temporary residence in a crisis situation.
